Bedouin Hospitality
The
Bedouin are Arab nomadic desert dwellers. Most Jordanians can trace
their roots back to a bedouin way of life. And although many modern day
bedouin have now settled in permanent villages, some still continue the
wandering lifestyle of their ancestors. Bedouin hospitality is world
renowned. This series offers a rare window into one family living in the
arid hills besides the Dead Sea. Their simple, even bare, way of life
is coupled with a strong sense of place and pride in their land and a
huge humility and hospitality towards others.
